It never ceases to consistently offer surprises and amusement, and leaves loyal fans wanting for more. This franchise is an epitome of a weird and wonderful experience it manages to be hilarious, emotional, and disturbing at the same time.

The game’s objective is to guide the protagonist while making him stay alive in a place where supernatural creatures dwell as he sets out on a series of interlocking mysteries and action-filled quests in order to find out who this raincoat-clad, axe-wielding killer really is. The game uses a third-person view which puts the player in the shoes of an FBI Special Agent named Francis York Morgan as he unveils the identity of the Raincoat Killer, who is responsible for a murder in the town of Greenvale. Add these things up together, and you have a package that many people dismiss at first glance.Deadly Premonition is an open world action– adventure survival horror game developed and published by Rising Star Games. The graphics look like they'd be entirely possible on an original XBox (720p aside). The story may not appeal to those looking for a straight-laced murder mystery, as their is a lot of odd humor that probably won't be for everyone. The gameplay feels like something one would find in a last generation game, something like Resident Evil 4, but stiffer and bit awkward. The reason for the divergent scores is fairly clear once the game has been played through. However, a number of positive reviews followed, and the game started to gain attention from the wildly divergent scores it was getting. It seemed that the same would follow for Deadly Premonition, with one of the first reviews (from IGN) giving it a 2.0. Reviews of Spy Fiction were generally low. I press Up and Down on the Right Control Stick to look Left and Right. However, the controller axis is all wrong.
